If not…

If not for the vegetarian diet shrinking the brain, think about how crazy smart I would be.

  1. Didn’t Einstein have a tiny brain? I’m pretty sure size doesn’t matter…

    Keep telling yourself that Mark…

Nate… I don’t know what to tell you man. Can I get you a burger?

  3. According to this there is a strong positive correlation between brain size and IQ: http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/DASL/Stories/BrainSizeandIntelligence.html

Don’t panic though, the Wikipedia page on Vitamin B12 lists several non-meat sources (milk and eggs to name a couple). Of course, if you’re a vegan you’re pretty much screwed unless you take a multi-vitamin or eat something that has it added (like breakfast cereal for example).

The good news is that if it shrinks enough, you may not need to wear that dorky bicycle helmet anymore, since brain damage happens when a large, meat-eater-sized brain, decelerates too rapidly and hits the front and/or back of the skull. Your cerebrospinal fluid does dampen its motion somewhat, and a smaller, vegetarian-sized brain may have enough distance from the skull wall to decelerate completely and avoid impact.

But yeah, just start popping those B12 vitamins like they’re candy and you should be fine :)

Wow, sorry to hear about the brain shrinkage. Is that what caused you to post a picture of yourself in that shirt?
