Walk it off

Over the past few weeks my weight has crept up a bit. I had been weighing in at 177 for the longest time, and now I am at 183. I need to cut a few pounds before the spring racing season gets into full swing.

Today I decided that I would go for a long walk to help burn off some extra calories.

I set out to walk 2.5 miles in one direction and then I was going to turn around and come home. I ended up finding a road and following it way out around town. In the end I walked 9 miles.

Now that’s a walk. Nice. I’m jealous. It was pretty cold to be walking for that long though. Holy cow.

When E-dog told me you walked 9 miles I thought he was exaggerating. Apparently not. :)

  3. I thought I was going to turn into an icicle walking about a 1/4 mile today. You are hardcore.
