Training Log 02.03.08

Published by Nathan Powell on February 3, 2008 07:13 pm under running

The second week of my 14 week training program came to a close on Saturday, making today day 1 of week 3.

I had a 4 miler scheduled and I was juiced to get out there. I drove down to Newville Rails To Trails and did an out and back run.

I am addicted to using those rails to trails as out and back runs. You should get into it.

I hope you don’t mind, but I linked your blog to mine. I didn’t know you were also running the Lehigh Valley Half!

Since you and I started the HH plan on the same week, and it is a 12 week training plan… and it is 13 weeks until the 1/2 marathon… are you just going to repeat the last week of training to bring it up the the 1/2 date?

    Hey Erica,

I actually added a couple weeks at the beginning, though repeating the last week is also a viable option of course.

That’s very cool that you are also running Lehigh. I am not sure I realized that when I saw you were training for a half.

I added you to the blogroll on the right.

    Happy running!

When people say, “I am addicted to [x]. You should get into it.” that’s usually cause for alarm. But being addicted to running is ok I guess :)

Come on Don, the first taste is free man. On the house! Hell I’ll come pick you up and drive you to the trail… ;)
