Vent

Published by Nathan Powell on August 30, 2007 08:23 pm under running

I ran 4.5 miles tonight, and I wasn’t feeling it at all.

First off my Garmin was acting very strange. I think the approaching storms were causing it to lose the satellite associations frequently so my pace and distance were all screwy. I turned it off and on several times trying to reset it. Eventually I just used it as an expensive HRM and ran by the mile markers on the trail.

I am also more than a little tired of the humidity for one season. I’d like nothing more than to wake up tomorrow to a cool clear Fall day.

At any rate, I got my miles in, I think the pace was good…over all on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a “sucky”.

9 Miles on Sunday. Here goes nothing.

Nice… I’ve been sick to my stomach since I ran my 8 last night. I think it’s the humidity too. It screws with my stomach. Anyhow… I woke up this morning and was 197… How ya like me now?

Amen on the humidity. I am completely over it. I will welcome the fall season with open arms.
