Week 3 already…crazy. So tonight was 35 minutes cross. Despite Marcus telling me I don’t know how to cross train, I gave it hell tonight.

Unfortunately the Garmin was running out of battery, so I had to go it alone with just the Timex. Ended up doing over 40 minutes when it was all done. I did a nice long warm up and then steady ride all over town till I wound up at the barracks. On the barracks trail I put in two fast miles. I did the first in 4:40 and the second (tougher) mile in 4:57. My goal was only to break 10 minutes, which I did (9:37). The next thing I’d like to do over there is repeat that feet, but 3 times in a row for a total of 6 miles. Someday.

For the record, I only said that to get you to go for the 1/2M…. you know you want to. :)

    1/2 mile? That’s easy! ;)
