Nathan Powell is a dick
So. I did a google for ‘Nathan Powell’. And what did I see?

So I did a ‘view source’ on the page. And what did I see?

That kids, is called search engine spamming, and should be groked by googles algorithm, but isn’t.

If it makes you feel any better, searching for “Nathan Powell” on Yahoo! Search makes your site appear first.
I struggle with weather having “Nathan Powell” appear tons of times in meta tags on a site really counts as spam if the site really is about Nathan Powell and “NathanPowell” is in the URL. It may be redundant, but I’m not sure it’s abuse.
Hello there Don,
Sorry I didn’t get back sooner. Let me start by saying, I meant to comment on your blog the other day about your change in duties at work, it sounds very cool…unfortunately I got sidteracked.
Now for your comment…I agree having the name in the meta tags in and of itself doesn’t constitute spamming. However the content is not Nathan Powell to the power of 32 :). Also, let me say, I am not against SEO, while I don’t employ it myself, I am not against, nor do I think one ought to be against SEO. However, the only possible reason I can come up with for putting that content above in your meta tags is to artificially inflate ones search engine ranking. Compete on content, not on underhandness.
